Loft Apartment Development with Commercial and Retail Space
Union Mills Lofts
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Approved Marina
Sells to the Highest Bidder Over a $1,500,000.00 Bid
The Union Mills Lofts is the prime adaptive reuse project in New York. These historically protected buildings are in the heart of the historic village of Catskill. Originally constructed in the mid-1800's, this historically protected property brings out the best of the Catskill region. When originally built, Union Mills provided uniforms for the Union Soldiers during the Civil War.
This development received the approval of the New York Attorney General's Office in 2007 and building permits were issued shortly thereafter. The project consists of 25 New York City style loft apartments combined with commercial and retail space on the creekside. These lofts were being built to international standards by recycling and using green building practices and energy efficiency. The lofts are retaining the unique historic features accenting the integrity of the warehouse architecture with high ceilings, refinished original floors and 8' tall windows.
This auction consists of two buildings and is a mixed used development which combines commercial use and residential living. Both properties are being offered as a package and will sell to the highest bidder over a minimum bid of $1,500,000.
